Job summary

Animal Medical Center in Hernando, Mississippi is seeking a Part-time Veterinary Receptionist/Kennel Technician to support a busy three-doctor practice. Responsibilities include greeting clients, scheduling, and assisting with daily care of hospitalized pets in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of veterinary experience, weekend availability, and the ability to multitask while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Veterinary experience of at least 1yr required.
• Compassionate, calm, organized, and a strong communicator.
• Weekend availability required.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients and provide friendly, compassionate service.
• Answer calls and emails, address client concerns, and schedule appointments.
• Check clients in/out and process payments.
• Provide daily care for hospitalized and boarding pets, including feeding, walking, bathing, and medicating.
• Monitor and document patient health, behavior, and medications.
• Clean kennels, treatment areas, equipment, and surgical instruments.
• Assist the veterinary team with restraint, exams, and post-operative care.
• Restock supplies and help maintain a clean, safe hospital environment.
