VCA CVS Carlsbad is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative to be the first point of contact for clients both in person and by phone. You will manage a busy front desk, schedule appointments, handle inquiries, and provide empathetic support to pet owners in times of need.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, managing calls and emails, scheduling, handling payments, and coordinating with veterinary staff while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a client service role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting, is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and patients.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails, addressing client questions and appointment requests efficiently.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, including emergencies, and handle patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Process payments, including insurance claims and financial transactions, and explain costs clearly to clients.
• Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth communication between clients and medical teams.
• Resolve client concerns or complaints with tact and empathy, maintaining high service standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area for a welcoming environment.
• Assist with data entry, filing, and inventory management as needed.
