Job summary

VCA CVS Carlsbad is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative to be the first point of contact for clients both in person and by phone. You will manage a busy front desk, schedule appointments, handle inquiries, and provide empathetic support to pet owners in times of need.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, managing calls and emails, scheduling, handling payments, and coordinating with veterinary staff while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a client service role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting, is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and patients.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Position Overview:

As a Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR), you will be the first point of contact for our clients, both in person and over the phone. Your role will involve managing a busy front desk, scheduling appointments, handling client inquiries, and providing a supportive and empathetic experience for pet owners during their time of need. • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and their pets.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management as needed.

Other Compensation Information:

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $22 to $24 per hour.
