Job summary

Animal Hospital of East Davie in Advance, NC is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to greet clients and manage the front desk. In this fast-paced role you will handle appointments, patient flow, phone lines, transactions, and provide information about wellness visits, urgent care, boarding and grooming.

Ideal candidates are organized, compassionate, and customer-focused, with experience in veterinary front-desk settings and familiarity with practice

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Experience with boarding and grooming facilities is preferred
• Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
• Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark, preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during routine and emotionally sensitive situations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
• Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records

Responsibilities
