Qualifications

• Entry-level position in a veterinary setting.
• 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Previous veterinary experience is not required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, compassionate, and professional service to the clients and patients of Oakridge Veterinary Clinic.
• Welcome clients and patients to the hospital and create a positive first impression.
• Answer incoming calls, determine client needs, and direct calls to the appropriate team member.
• Respond to routine questions about hospital services and general pet care information within your training and role.
• Follow established hospital protocols when clients report urgent or acute symptoms and connect them with the appropriate medical team member.
• Remain calm and reassuring when assisting distressed or concerned pet owners.
• Schedule appointments and collect necessary information about patients and their owners.
• Prepare records, forms, estimates, consent documents, and other materials before appointments when possible.
• Check clients and patients in for appointments.
