Job summary

San Jose Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative to be the welcoming front-desk presence, handling client check-in/out, scheduling, and payments. This full-time position includes Tue-Fri shifts with no weekends.

You will work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and the Practice Manager to ensure outstanding client care. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of veterinary customer-service experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of veterinary medicine experience in a client-facing or hospital setting.
• Strong customer service and a genuine commitment to client care.
• Friendly, professional, and approachable.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Check clients in and out, providing a welcoming, professional experience.
• Answer phones and assist clients with questions and requests.
• Accurately schedule appointments and maintain efficient flow.
• Process payments and ensure accurate transactions.
• Maintain high standard of patient and client care in every interaction.
• Complete Missing in Action calls and follow up with clients.
• Collaborate with CSR team to complete daily tasks and cover front desk.
• Assist with prioritizing and managing front-desk responsibilities during busy periods.
