Job summary

Oakridge Veterinary Clinic in San Jose, CA is looking for a Client Service Representative to be the first and last contact for clients and their pets. You’ll greet families, answer inquiries, and support the hospital workflow with a friendly, professional presence.

As part of the front desk team, you’ll schedule visits, process payments, and help clients navigate veterinary care, while building skills in client education and hospital operations for future growth.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with on-the-job training in a veterinary reception.
• Experience in customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients to the hospital and create a positive first impression.
• Answer incoming calls, determine client needs, and direct calls to the appropriate team member.
• Schedule appointments and collect necessary information about patients and their owners.
• Process payments and manage records with accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain a welcoming lobby and assist with basic hospital tasks.
• Support the treatment team with appropriate intake and patient check-in.
