Job summary

You will travel extensively, adjust your schedule for events, and work from a home-based office when not in the field. The role requires 3+ years in a veterinary setting, familiarity with IDEXX products, and a valid driver's license, plus the commitment to travel within Lakewood, CO and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working in a veterinary practice or similar work experience.
• Familiarity with IDEXX products.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Residency in Lakewood, CO area and willingness to travel within this territory.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships to gain confidence and trust from others.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate with customers, management, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Travel 75% of the time (5+ days of car travel per week and 6‑8+ overnights per month); weekends and overtime may be required; remote work from home when not traveling.
• Install and train staff in clinics on IDEXX Analyzers (e.g., ProCyte, Catalyst One, SediVue, InVue).
• Provide onsite technical troubleshooting during critical customer visits when plans don’t go as expected.
• Use a wide array of programs to plan and strategize customer visits, acting as an IDEXX ambassador.
• Manage your schedule based on customer needs while pursuing professional development.
