We provide 24-hour emergency services and specialty referrals in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, radiology, neurology, and rehabilitation. We are hiring Technician Assistants for our Emergency/ICU Department. These roles involve significant autonomy and responsibility. A strong work ethic, sound judgment, excellent communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and in teams are essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Properly restrain canine and feline patients for procedures
• Assist clinicians and technicians with patient care
• Position and acquire radiographs
• Run in-house laboratory tests
• Prepare for patient procedures
• Fill patient prescriptions
• Assist team members hospital-wide
• Enter patient vitals and treatments into Cornerstone and Instinct
• Stock ICU supplies and maintain inventory
• Complete cleaning and maintenance tasks

Additional Expectations

• Identify and report issues to management
• Maintain professionalism under pressure and with clients

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of veterinary experience
• Professional canine and feline restraint skills
• High school diploma or GED
