Job summary

MARS, Incorporated and its Affiliates’ Royal Canin brand is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Eastern North Carolina region. This field-based role requires residence within the territory and entails cross-functional collaboration to drive vet clinic opportunities and sales growth.

You will translate product and clinic data into opportunities, develop territory plans, and build relationships with clinic decision-makers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Overnight travel required, approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
Develop and execute a territory business plan and grow clinics within the geography.
Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
Deliver data-driven presentations addressing Veterinary staff needs.
Develop strong cross-functional relationships across BU and organization.
Build partnerships and collaborate to meet shared objectives.
Execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy.
Work in a cross-functional team environment and adapt to changing conditions.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Line Manager and adjust strategies.
Budget and reporting: manage expenses and sales budget; complete CRM call reports and expense reports.
