Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Customer & Technical Support Consultant in Chemistry to assist veterinarians and animal healthcare professionals with diagnostics. You will guide customers on using in-house analyzers and coordinate installations, while resolving hardware and software issues on a fast-paced team.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and a commitment to reliable attendance, with remote onboarding and potential for bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technically related field, e.g., veterinary practice with chemistry analyzers, a laboratory setting, or contact center environment.
• Prior phone experience is a plus.
• Strong computer and technical skills with the ability to learn software/hardware.
• Networking and/or software support is a plus.
• Ideal candidate is motivated, goal-oriented, and a strong collaborator.
• Proven track record of extraordinary customer service.
• Superb listening and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong interpersonal skills for quick rapport building.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply skills across customer interactions.
• Ability to be on the phone for 8 hours per day.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Instruct customers on the use of in-house diagnostic analyzers.
• Coordinate and assist with equipment installations and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
