Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; science-degree preferred.
• Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests is preferred.
• Experience with laboratory equipment (microscopes, pipetting, analyzers) is a plus.
• Candidate should be detail oriented, reliable, and a strong team player.
• Standing/sitting for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lb may be required.
• Potential exposure to biohazards and chemicals in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes and other lab tools to perform analyses.
• Conduct diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or biopsy samples daily.
• Set up and run tests, read and release results per SOPs.
• Specialize in an assigned department and contribute to team goals.
