Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Worthington, OH lab. You will perform diagnostic tests on animal samples using automated analyzers, microscopes, and other lab equipment, delivering timely results to support veterinarian care.

This full-time role includes day-one benefits, on-the-job training, and opportunities for career growth in a global diagnostic leader. Three shift options are available; hours may vary with business needs, and a strong team focus is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; science degree preferred.
• Laboratory experience or RVT/LVT/MLT background is a plus.
• Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests with microscopes and analyzers.
• Positive attitude and teamwork mindset.
• Able to meet physical lab requirements (standing, lifting up to 50 lb).

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes and other lab tools to perform analyses and tests.
• Perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or biopsy samples received daily.
• Set up, run, and read lab tests; release results per SOPs.
• Possibly specialize in an assigned department; explore opportunities.
