Job summary

IDEXX Laboratory is seeking a Veterinary Medical Laboratory Technician to perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal samples and biopsies. You will set up, run, read and release results, potentially specializing in Parasitology, Hematology, Serology, Chemistry, Urinalysis or Cytology within our NORTH GRAFTON, MA lab.

A high school diploma is required, science degree preferred, and overnight/flex shift experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; science-related degree preferred.
• Must have worked an alternate shift (overnight or flex).
• Third shift position; attendance and punctuality essential.
• Experience working with veterinary clinical samples (blood, urine, feces, biopsies).

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes and other tools to diagnose animal illnesses.
• Run lab tests and read/release results per SOPs.
• Work in departments such as Parasitology, Hematology, Serology, Chemistry, Urinalysis or Cytology.
