Job summary

IDEXX Laboratory Technician position located on-site at our Worthington, OH lab involves performing diagnostic tests using automated analyzers and microscopes to support veterinary care. You will handle blood, urine, fecal, and biopsy samples, setting up tests, reading results, and releasing per SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; science-related degree preferred.
• Experience or exposure to lab tests and lab equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes and other lab tools to perform analyses and tests.
• Process samples (blood, urine, fecal, biopsy) received in the lab.
• Set up, run and read lab tests; release results per SOPs.
• Specialize in an assigned department as available.
