IDEXX in Portland, OR is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform diagnostic tests on animal samples using automated analyzers, microscopes, and other lab equipment. This full-time, night-shift role supports veterinarians by delivering accurate results and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in a high-volume clinical laboratory, a high school diploma (science degree preferred), and a team-oriented mindset committed to precision and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5+ years in a high-volume clinical laboratory.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; science degree preferred.
• Experience as Vet Tech (RVT/LVT/CVT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT/MT) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes and other lab tools to perform analyses that support diagnosis.
• Run diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or biopsy samples and release results per SOPs.
• Set up, run, and read lab tests, operating lab equipment.
• Specialize in an assigned department and explore related areas.
