Job summary

Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital, part of the WellHaven network, is seeking a Practice Manager to lead hospital operations onsite. You will collaborate with the Principal Doctor, manage staffing, onboarding, benefits, and training, and drive profitability while maintaining excellent client service.

The role requires 40+ hours per week, occasional evenings or weekends, and a focus on staff development, compliance, and community outreach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree or higher in business management is a plus.
• WellHaven hospital experience and/or supervisor/manager experience in veterinary medicine is preferred.
• CVPM or CVPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital team to ensure safety, compliance, and efficient operations.
• Oversee scheduling, onboarding, benefits, and staff development.
• Manage budgeting, productivity, and profitability in collaboration with Principal Doctor.
• Ensure high-quality client service and medical care in line with WellHaven standards.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate degree or higher in business management

CVPM certification

CVPMA certification (CVPA)
