Two-way communication with clients, technicians, and doctors is essential, along with accurate record-keeping and a collaborative attitude. Experience in veterinary settings is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Previous veterinary or animal-care experience is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in helping people and caring for pets.
• Comfortable speaking with clients in person and over the phone.
• Reliable, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• As a Client Service Representative, you’ll be an important part of the client and patient experience.
• Welcome clients and their pets with a friendly, professional attitude
• Answer phones and respond to client questions
• Schedule appointments and manage the hospital’s appointment calendar
• Check clients in and out efficiently and accurately
• Process payments and assist with financial transactions
• Communicate appointment details and treatment information to clients
• Maintain accurate client and patient records
• Coordinate communication between clients, veterinary technicians, and doctors
• Help clients understand next steps for their pet’s care
• Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Support the veterinary team with administrative and hospital tasks as needed
