Alpine Veterinary Hospital in Cabin John, MD is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing practice. This full-time role offers a 5‑day workweek with rotating weekend shifts and pay of $21–$26 per hour based on experience.

You will assist veterinarians and technicians with exams and treatments, restrain animals safely, monitor patient comfort, and help maintain records in a collaborative hospital environment.

Alpine Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Cabin John, MD.

If you have at least one year of veterinary assistant experience, enjoy hands-on patient care, and thrive in a collaborative hospital environment, we’d love to meet you. What You’ll Do

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with exams, treatments, and daily patient care

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of veterinary assistant experience required
• Previous experience in a general practice or other veterinary setting
• Comfortable handling animals and assisting with patient care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
• Ability to multitask in a busy veterinary hospital
• Compassionate approach to patients, clients, and coworkers
• Willingness to learn new skills and support the needs of a growing team
