Job summary

Alpine Veterinary Hospital in Cabin John, MD is seeking a Client Service Representative to join our growing team. You will play a key role in delivering a welcoming client and patient experience while supporting the veterinary staff.

We value someone with at least 1 year of customer service experience; veterinary experience is preferred but not required. Expect a collaborative environment with training on veterinary terminology and hospital systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets with a friendly, professional attitude
• Answer phones and respond to client questions
• Schedule appointments and manage the hospital's appointment calendar
• Check clients in and out efficiently and accurately
• Process payments and assist with financial transactions
• Communicate appointment details and treatment information to clients
• Maintain accurate client and patient records
• Coordinate communication between clients, veterinary technicians, and doctors
• Help clients understand next steps for their pet's care
• Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Support the veterinary team with administrative and hospital tasks as needed
