Job summary

The Castro Animal Hospital in San Francisco's Castro neighborhood is hiring a Client Service Representative to greet clients and pets, manage scheduling, answer questions, and relay information between families and the medical team.

This full-time role features four 10-hour shifts per week, including Saturdays, with pay from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on experience, plus benefits, training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of veterinary client service experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent phone and in-person communication skills.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
• Serve as primary contact in person and by phone, answering questions.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, keeping the hospital calendar organized.
• Enter and maintain accurate client, patient, financial, and medical records.
• Communicate hospital policies, services, and next steps to manage expectations.
