Job summary

Hillcrest Animal Hospital in Poplar Bluff, MO is seeking a Client Service Representative to provide an exceptional client experience and support routine practice administration. The CSR handles reception, records maintenance, appointment tracking, and basic operations to ensure smooth daily workflow.

Responsibilities include scheduling, client communication, cash handling, and document management, with a focus on compassionate, professional service and adherence to clinic policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on weekends as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions.
• Ensures all public areas are clean and presentable for patients.
• Processes cash, checks, charge card payments and credit account payments.
• Schedules appointments for the clinic adhering to practice and Doctor preferences.
• Assists in updating client/patient files as needed.
• Prepares and sends client correspondence.
• Sends reminder notices to clients for periodic notifications; conducts re-calls to clients.
• Performs a backup of the computer system as directed.
• Performs and oversees posting daily business.
• Welcomes clients and patients with a warm demeanor and ensures a great experience.
• Answers incoming telephone calls with proper etiquette.
• Presents medications, instructions, new client kits and any take-home items.
• Handles emergencies with care and following clinic policies.
• Addresses client concerns to ensure satisfaction.
