Job summary

The San Francisco SPCA is seeking a Client Experience Coordinator for our veterinary hospital. You will uphold exceptional customer service and manage daily hospital operations while promoting our core values to clients and team members.

The role reports to the Manager of Clinical Operations and features a 4/10 work schedule, with responsibilities spanning client check-in, appointment scheduling, financial transactions, and outreach to ensure compassionate care for animals and their guardians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 2 years of college education or 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Additional Veterinary Hospital experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming hospital lobby and reception area.
• Greet and check-in clients; answer phones and book appointments.
• Maintain patient files and records for office visits.
• Assist in patient intake and discharge including payments.
• Engage in client outreach and answer inquiries about finances and records.
• Communicate medical and prescription information as assigned by doctors.
• Reconcile financial transactions four times daily; end-of-day reconciliation.
• Schedule appointments using veterinary software.
• Work varied shifts including weekends; maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Encourage client feedback through satisfaction surveys.
