Job summary

AmeriVet's Lafayette Animal Hospital in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Client Service Representative to be the first and last point of contact for clients and their pets. You will manage appointments, answer calls, update patient information, and ensure smooth communication with the medical team.

In a hybrid hospital, you’ll use VetCove and practice management systems to streamline workflows, greet clients warmly, and support daily operations while offering a welcoming experience for every visitor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Preferred: Experience with Veterinary EMR systems (e.g., Avimark, Cornerstone).
• Preferred: One year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails promptly with professional, friendly service.
• Schedule appointments based on client needs and veterinarian availability.
• Update client and patient records in the practice management system and process billing.
• Provide clients with post-visit instructions and promote services and promotions.
