Job summary

VetEvolve is seeking a Client Service Representative to deliver exceptional client and patient care in a busy veterinary hospital. You will manage front-desk duties, schedule appointments, and coordinate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and experience with practice management software. The position requires empathy, accuracy, and a team-oriented approach to care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with animals or in veterinary care preferred.
• Proficient with computer systems, email, practice management software, and scheduling tools.
• Accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
• Able to perform basic math for cash handling and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, providing empathetic service in person and by phone.
• Check-in/check-out patients and relay real-time status to staff.
• Maintain client communications via phone, email, and mail, including follow-ups.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; triage patients by urgency.
• Explain services, wellness care, diagnostics, and post-care instructions.
• Handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with billing and receipts.
• Assist with purchases and inventory of over-the-counter products.
• Support veterinarians and staff with administrative tasks.
• Keep a clean, safe hospital environment and follow hygiene protocols.
• Participate in opening, closing, and weekend duties.
