Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative for Hickory Small Animal Hospital in Ponchatoula, LA. This full-time role involves greeting clients, scheduling, processing payments, and maintaining accurate medical records with compassion for pets and their families.

You’ll work 30-40 hours per week, including some weekends and holidays, and be part of a supportive team offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth in a nationwide veterinary network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; AAS or higher preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• Veterinary hospital experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Communicating via phone, email, and in person with clients and actively listening to their concerns.
• Utilizing computer information systems to accurately enter client/patient information, update and maintain medical records.
• Processing client payments and invoices.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments with patients.
• Precisely dispensing pharmaceuticals as needed and calling in prescriptions to pharmacies.
• Other administrative duties as needed.
