Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative at Hickory Small Animal Hospital in Ponchatoula, LA. This full-time position (30–40 hours per week) involves greeting clients, handling inquiries, and coordinating appointments in a welcoming, educational environment for both clients and their pets.

Responsibilities include entering patient data, processing payments, and accurately updating medical records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; AAS or higher preferred.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Veterinary hospital experience is preferred, however not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person and listen to concerns.
• Enter client/patient information into computer systems and maintain medical records.
• Process client payments and invoices.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for patients.
• Dispense pharmaceuticals as needed and call in prescriptions to pharmacies.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed.
