Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative at Penfield Veterinary Hospital in Rochester, NY. This full-time role requires 30-40 hours per week, including some weekends and holidays, and focuses on welcoming clients and pets with excellent service.

You will handle phone, email, and in-person inquiries, enter client data, schedule appointments, process payments, and assist with prescriptions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; AAS or higher preferred.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Veterinary hospital experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform daily physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Communicating via phone, email, and in person with clients and actively listening to their concerns.
• Utilizing computer information systems to accurately enter client/patient information, update and maintain medical records.
• Processing client payments and invoices.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments with patients.
• Precisely dispensing pharmaceuticals as needed and calling in prescriptions to pharmacies.
• Other administrative duties as needed.
