Kentown Animal Hospital in Parma Heights, Ohio seeks a Patient Care Coordinator to be the main link between clients and the medical team, guiding visits from check-in to check-out and ensuring accurate medical documentation. You will create treatment plans, educate clients, and help manage scheduling and payments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Love for animals and passion for delivering exceptional client service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient typing and computer literacy for accurate medical transcription.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central point of contact for clients from check-in to check-out.
• Capture medical notes and coordinate treatment plans with the veterinary team.
• Explain treatment plans and discharge instructions to clients.
• Coordinate care with technical team to ensure efficient visit flow and follow-ups.
• Assist with payments and scheduling of follow-ups at in-room checkout.
• Conduct post-visit follow-ups to monitor pet well-being.
