Court Square Animal Hospital in Long Island City, NY is seeking a friendly, compassionate Veterinary Assistant / Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing veterinary team. In this hybrid role, you'll combine hands‑on patient care with exceptional client service, supporting both our medical team and pet owners who trust us with their animals' health.

Your day-to-day includes assisting veterinarians with patient handling and treatments, preparing exam rooms, checking in/out,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a friendly, compassionate approach.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient handling, examinations, and treatments.
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized and in-house patients under the veterinary team.
• Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and medical supplies for appointments and procedures.
• Answer to client questions, relay messages, and maintain medical records in the PM system.
