Job summary

Petroglyph Animal Hospital in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly, efficient first contact for clients and their pets. You will manage high-volume calls with empathy, schedule appointments across multiple platforms, and assist with payments to keep the clinic running smoothly.

The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, stays organized, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and people-oriented approach.
• Able to learn quickly and take on new challenges.
• Ability to multitask while staying accurate and organized.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Willing to work three 10-hour shifts Mon–Wed, with weekend coverage as needed.
• Previous office, medical, or veterinary experience is preferred, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact for clients and their pets, in person and by phone.
• Handle a high volume of calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule appointments across multiple computer platforms.
• Assist with check-ins, check-outs, estimates, and payment processing.
• Communicate with clients by phone and email.
• Contribute to a welcoming, organized hospital experience.
