Hope Advanced Veterinary Center in Vienna, VA is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to be the first contact for clients. You will coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, nurses, and specialty departments to ensure a smooth patient flow and accurate financial coordination.

This role emphasizes compassionate service, professional demeanor, and the ability to manage appointments across Emergency and Specialty services while supporting our One Hope

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, preferably in veterinary or healthcare settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy hospital environment.
• Professional and compassionate demeanor with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Explain estimates and payment options, process payments and refunds per policy.
• Maintain complete electronic medical records and organize client documents.
• Communicate with veterinarians and staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
