Broad Street Veterinary Hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join our frontline team. This full-time role focuses on client service, scheduling, and administrative support in a busy animal hospital.

If you have at least 2 years in a veterinary setting (and 2 years as a receptionist), you will fit in a culture of care that values teamwork, calm communication, and compassionate service to pets and their families.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a veterinary setting
• 2 years' experience as a veterinary receptionist preferred
• Applicants must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in stressful situations.
• Manages lobby flow, schedules appointments, and addresses client concerns.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners with safety in mind.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and service information.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, and maintaining records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties
