Burnsville Animal Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians, ensuring high standards of care and smooth hospital operations. You will assist in surgery, dentistry, lab work, venipuncture, and proper restraint, while also educating clients about wellness plans and basic pet care.

Expected responsibilities include maintaining medical charts, handling reception tasks, and ensuring shifts end with all duties completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6+ months of experience in the veterinary industry.
• Completion of NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and technicians in clinical tasks.
• Maintain thorough medical charting for all patients.
• Assist with client education about wellness plans and pet care.
• Perform reception duties: phone, scheduling, patient intake and discharge.
