Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of experience in the veterinary industry (preferred).
• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent experience demonstrates required knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in surgery, dentistry, laboratory procedures, venipuncture, and sterile protocol adherence.
• Contribute to day-to-day hospital efficiency and operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Maintain accurate medical charting for all patients and assist with wellness plans.
• Assist with reception duties including phone calls, appointment scheduling, and patient intake/discharge.
• Assist in inventory management and keeping hospital supplies stocked.
