Job summary

Community Hope, Inc. is seeking a qualified supervisor to lead the Supports for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring service delivery quality, and coordinating with partners to assist veterans and their families.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree in nonprofit or human services management, plus 2 years of supervisory experience, and hold a valid NJ driver’s license to support community-based activities and outreach.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in nonprofit or human services management or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of combined human service and supervisory experience.
  • Valid NJ Driver’s License with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor all aspects of service delivery to ensure accuracy and timeliness (intake, assessments, housing stabilization, budgeting, benefits, and referrals).
  • Support Program Coordinator in ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and contracts.
  • Assist with public speaking engagements, staff trainings, and community events to raise program awareness.
  • Provide clinical support and crisis intervention coverage.
  • Supervise and support program staff including Case Managers and Housing Specialists.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, supervision, and performance evaluations.
  • Transport veterans as needed using agency vehicles.
  • Document eligibility screenings, intakes, and housing stability plans in the EHR.
