Job summary

Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas is seeking a Co-Team Lead to provide day-to-day management for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) staff. This role involves overseeing program operations, leading outreach efforts, and ensuring effective case management services. Candidates should have relevant experience in homelessness prevention, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage effectively with clientele.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in counseling psychology or a related field and experience working with homeless individuals and families. Understanding of veteran services is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience working with homeless individuals and families including veterans.
• Veteran or member of a veteran family is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management for SSVF staff.
• Hold a case load for SSVF Program.
• Coordinate client outreach and recruitment efforts for SSVF.
• Review and approve check requests.
• Conduct weekly SSVF team meetings.
