Posterity Group LLC, a veteran-owned staffing firm, is seeking a Medical Coder for The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center.

The coder will attach images to EHR elements, verify image quality, locate FINs, and link documents to veteran records, index records correctly, and conduct QA before submission. Requirements include knowledge of clinical documentation, proficiency with Cerner/Oracle or similar EHR, and a valid coding credential (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical clinics and clinical documentation.
• Ability to locate FINs and link documents to veteran record in Cerner/Oracle.
• Indexing documents by section, note title, date of service, and visit location.
• Verify images uploaded correctly and legible.

Responsibilities
