Posterity Group is staffing The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center with Medical Coders. The coder will attach images to EHR elements, verify legibility, locate FINs, and index documents within veteran records using Cerner/Oracle.

Requirements include knowledge of medical clinics, strong data entry, and an active coding credential (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or equivalent). Prior VA or federal healthcare coding is preferred, with at least 3 years of experience.

• Knowledge of medical clinics and clinical documentation.
• Ability to locate FINs and link documents to veteran records in Cerner/Oracle.
• Indexing documents with correct section, note title, date of service, and visit location.
• Verify that images are uploaded correctly and legible for viewing.
• Data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy.
