Job summary

Talbert House in Cincinnati is seeking an Operations Supervisor for Veterans and Family Services (SSVF) to provide day-to-day leadership, support staff, and ensure high-quality, client-centered programs.

You will work with site coordinators, clinical teams, and leadership to keep operations running smoothly, manage schedules, budgets, safety, and continuous quality improvement while upholding dignity and respect for veterans and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and coordinate staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations in line with contracts, licensing, and standards.
• Maintain safe, welcoming environment for veterans, families, staff, and visitors.
• Coordinate staffing schedules, coverage, inventory, and maintenance.
• Monitor workflow, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversee timecards, PTO, and unpaid leave with HR.
• Assist with budget development and monitoring.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve operations and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
• Respond to operational needs to maintain essential services.
