Job summary

VOA Mid-States seeks a Program Manager for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program in Johnson City, TN. You will oversee operations to help veterans avoid homelessness under the Associate Director of Veteran Services.

You'll supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure VA and accreditation compliance, and partner with local providers to extend outreach and services to veterans and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work or related field with at least 3 years of experience.
• Alternative: 7 years of field experience with no degree.
• Veteran with 5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach in local communities.
• Supervise staff, train, and conduct evaluations.
• Assist in budgeting and maintain program budgets.
• Review employee case files and lead weekly treatment team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with VA and VOA policies and procedures.
• Oversee property management of the SSVF regional office.
• Complete documentation and reporting accurately and timely.
• Maintain program HMIS database.
• Build relationships with agencies and service providers.
• Develop new forms of community outreach and awareness.
• Advocate for veterans, aligning needs with service delivery.
• Support PQI duties and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate to promote VOA programs.
