Job summary

Cetechs is seeking a Medical Support Assistant (MSA) to serve as the first point of contact for Veterans, coordinating patient care and scheduling within VA systems. Role involves maintaining electronic records and facilitating referrals, with a focus on accuracy and compassionate service.

The position supports VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System, onsite in Colorado locations, and requires strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and minimum six months of customer service experience.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge and computer literacy.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments per VA guidelines.
• Greet Veterans, check in, and provide outstanding service.
• Answer calls and route inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate Community Care referrals and authorizations.
• Maintain patient records in VA EMR systems.
• Protect confidentiality in line with HIPAA and VA rules.
