Job summary

The University of Tampa seeks a Records Specialist to support Veterans education benefits. You will provide customer service, process enrollment certifications, and maintain student records with accuracy.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and at least one year of office experience. You will use university systems, assist with audits, and participate in VA training.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service in a university setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with enrollment certifications and Veterans benefits is a plus.
• Strong attention to accuracy and confidentiality of student records.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and guidance on Veterans educational benefits.
• Enter, update, and maintain student information in university systems.
• Collect and review required documentation for Veterans benefits programs.
• Process enrollment certifications and SCO-related documentation per VA requirements.
• Assist with VA audits and annual catalog submissions as needed.
• Attend monthly training hosted by the VA and perform other duties as assigned.
