Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; substantial student records experience may substitute.
• Experience with university registrar processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with federal/state regulations related to veterans benefits.
• Strong written and verbal communication in professional settings.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a School Certifying Official (SCO) ensuring compliance with VA, DVS, DoD, and university policies.
• Certify student enrollment for military educational benefits and verify reporting accuracy.
• Maintain integrity, accuracy, and security of student records per policies.
• Review, interpret, and process documentation for student eligibility for benefits.
• Manage records retention in line with regulations.
• Assist audits with VA and State Approving Authority coordination.
• Serve as a primary resource for military-affiliated students on certification processes.
• Advise students on certification procedures; research and resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and other channels with clarity and empathy.
• Prepare communications to military-affiliated students regarding status and requirements.
• Collaborate with other offices to interpret regulations and ensure consistent responses.
• Participate in groups to support military-affiliated students and service delivery.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency.
• Coordinate with registrars, SFS, Admissions, and Student Affairs for integrated support.
• Support UREG operations, including call center and central email communications.
• Coordinate academic events and registrar-related services for students, faculty, staff.
• Develop and share communications about benefit status and resources.
• Manage the [e-mail] email account.
• Communicate complex regulatory requirements to diverse audiences.
