Job summary

Easterseals DC MD VA is seeking a Workshop Manager to lead the workshop team in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance operations. The role emphasizes managing daily workflow, uptime, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety practices while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will oversee the workshop floor and yard, coordinate with vendors, manage the site P&L and budgets, and drive training and performance development for technicians to stay aligned

Qualifications

• US Veteran, Guardsman, Reservist, or Military Spouse.
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
• Customer-focused with strong service orientation.
• Proficient in budgeting, P&L, and KPIs.
• Knowledge of workshop procedures and safety regulations.
• Strong training skills and EV tech awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshop team to deliver safe, efficient maintenance.
• Oversee daily workflow and vehicle turnaround times.
• Manage workshop floor and yard for organization and safety.
• Review completed work and record parts/labor accurately.
• Own site P&L, cost control, and budget alignment.
• Provide updates to Operations Director on performance.
• Coordinate with landlords, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure safety standards and PPE usage are followed.
• Manage subcontractors and visitors as needed.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop staff; coach performance.
