Job summary

TCR Group in Boston, MA is seeking a Workshop Manager to lead technicians on the workshop floor, ensuring safety, high quality, and efficient operations. You will promote safe working practices, improve day-to-day operations, and ensure paperwork is completed to high standards for customers.

You will implement SAP processes, manage resources and stock, coach the team, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain vehicle and equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Expert technical background in GSE maintenance and repair: mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, and related systems.
• Ability to make complex decisions under pressure.
• Fluent in English; strong communication skills.
• Commitment to OHSA safety practices.
• Willingness to lead and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Take end-responsibility for quality, safety, and resources in own unit.
• Coach and motivate team members and ensure teamwork.
• Implement SAP-based processes and manage resources and stock.
• Provide production and quality data visibility to operations.
• Maintain workshop administration, including work orders and time control.
• Lead safety initiatives and OHSA compliance.
