Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Case Manager for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. You will provide intensive case management, housing referrals, and coordinated services for Veteran households, with focus on rapid resolution and homelessness prevention.

You will collaborate with VA and community partners, document progress, and assist with staff training. This is a full-time field role requiring travel and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; social work preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused interventions, mediation.
• Ability to operate telephone/mobile devices and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and supportive services to Veteran households.
• Assist with staff training and onboarding of new staff.
• Engage Veterans, identify housing options, and coordinate referrals.
• Conduct intake/assessment and document progress in case files.
• Coordinate with VA, CoC, and community resources; maintain confidentiality.
