Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated Case Manager for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. You will provide comprehensive case management, housing stability planning, and supportive referrals to veteran households in need.

You will engage with community partners, manage intake and assessments, and coordinate with VA, CoC, and other resources to prevent homelessness and promote housing outcomes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; bachelor’s degree in social work preferred.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused interventions, and mediation for high-need populations.
• Requires experience using technology and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and supportive services to Veteran households under the SSVF program.
• Assist with staff training and on-boarding of new staff.
• Engage veterans, coordinate referrals, and maintain community partnerships.
• Conduct intake/assessment, develop housing stability plans, and monitor progress.
• Maintain HMIS data accuracy and prepare required documentation.
