Qualifications

• BA in Human Services related field required.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• 5+ years with Veteran population, mental health and/or homelessness.
• Understanding of Housing First, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Informed Care.
• Strong case management and housing navigation skills.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Proficiency with electronic databases and computers.
• Strong crisis intervention skills.
• Flexible self-starter with analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Stabilization Case Managers and adhere to SSVF grant terms and agency protocols.
• Ensure rapid entry into permanent housing and homelessness prevention services.
• Oversee caseload assignments and connect Veterans to their case manager and healthcare navigator as needed.
• Ensure SSVF training participation is documented and provide housing search navigation training.
• Coordinate landlord recruitment to access a pool for rapid placement.
• Develop expertise in the SSVF Program Guide and ensure adherence.
• Ensure thorough housing inspections and train staff accordingly.
• Meet weekly with the Director to review staff performance and caseloads.
• Implement systems to provide housing search, case management, health navigation, stabilization and homelessness prevention.
• Review and audit program documentation for funding compliance and audits.
• Coordinate with leadership to maintain records for reporting and outcomes.
• Intervene during crisis situations and provide direct stabilization services as needed.
• Collaborate to reduce duplication and improve integrated services.
• Attend program, department meetings, Boston COC Veterans Work Group, and trainings.
• Perform other SSVF duties as assigned.
