Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Veteran Engagement Case Manager to support veterans in Los Angeles through outreach, intake, and housing placement under the SSVF program. You will collaborate with housing relocation and vocational staff to facilitate move-in, employment opportunities, and ongoing case management.

Responsibilities include completing eligibility screening, developing individualized service plans, coordinating with landlords, and delivering home-based case

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or 3 years homeless services experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Valid California Class C Driver License or equivalent transportation plan.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to designated areas and collaborate with homeless service providers.
• Screen for housing barriers and complete intake, needs assessments, and service plans.
• Identify housing options, negotiate with landlords, and maintain landlord relations.
• Provide budget and housing plans, coordinate referrals, and track client progress.
